Europe trip-England May 2007

From Utah I flew to England with Jolene and Wade. Michael and Katie arrived there May 5th. We arrived there the next day Sunday morning May 6th and went to church with them. In the afternoon Ryan took us to some windmills overlooking the valley where they lived. We also went to Brighton and Arundel. The countryside is so beautiful with the rolling hills and hedges. Monday and Tuesday we rode the train into London and saw some of the sights there--Buckingham Palace and the changing of the guards, Westminster Abby, Big Ben and Parliament, the horse guard building, Trafalgar Square and museum, Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral, the royal courts of justice, the Somerset House and we saw the musical Les Miserables. I marveled at the architecture. The buildings are magnificent. Thanks to Ryan and Dana for housing us and showing us the sights.
